After several months without a post, I'm happy to be writing again, this time 3 days before I leave for China.
I think I'll take up blogging while I'm overseas, but this depends on how much time I spend thinking, writing and speaking in Chinese. I might end up blogging in a foreign language! (not, in case you were wondering)
I fly to Singapore on Feb 1st, at 2 pm. 2 nights in Singapore, then fly to Kunming (SW China) on 3rd Feb. Fly to Nanning on 4th Feb - then it's 2 or 3 weeks with my lovely family. After that I'll be cruising over to Hangzhou in South-East China where I'll be studying for a YEAR.
More news later! I really will be in exile won't I.
